“It’s the first time I see the reality of military mobility being almost the benefit number one for a railway project,” Emilien Dang, Chief Technical Officer of Rail Baltica, stated during his presentation at RailTech Europe 2026. He stresses the need to commit firmly, including with both national and EU funding , to the project, saying, “A non-decision is in fact a decision to create delay”.
