Nearly two weeks after a major fire on Union Street disrupted Scotland’s busiest station, Glasgow Central is cautiously returning to life. From the start of service today, Wednesday (18 March), platforms seven to 15 on the west side of the high-level station are back in use. The reopening is partial, pragmatic, and clearly a work in progress, but it restores a degree of normality for passengers and operators alike.
