
More than two weeks after a devastating fire, Scotland’s busiest station is resuming a full timetable of operations. Glasgow Central was completely closed after a huge blaze in an adjoining building, which began on Saturday, 7 March. The burnt-out remains of the Union Corner Building have now been sufficiently demolished to allow safe passage into the station.
