Amtrak has announced its latest discount offering, the ‘Adventure Awaits Sale’, which offers a 249 USD discount on its USA Rail Pass, enabling coast-to-coast, multi-stop journeys to over 500 destinations for 250 USD.
Available for tickets booked from Wednesday 14 through to Tuesday 20 January; the passes, which are valid for 10 coach travel segments, will be valid for 120 days from purchase and 30 days after the first trip is taken – equating to 25 USD per trip.

Routes within the scheme include the Amtrak Virginia, California Zephyr, Coast Starlight, Empire Service, Ethan Allen Express, Heartland Flyer, Lake Shore Limited, Maple Leaf, Michigan Services, Pacific Surfliner, Pennsylvanian, San Joaquins, Silver Service, Southwest Chief, Sunset Limited, Texas Eagle, and the Vermonter, amongst others.
