A year and a half ahead of its launch, InnoTrans Asia has attracted exhibitors from 30 countries with around a third of its exhibition space already booked.

The event is scheduled to take place in Singapore from 7 to 9 September 2027. Organised by Messe Berlin, the exhibition is positioned as a regional counterpart to its established Berlin event, InnoTrans. The early uptake is being presented as an indication of industry interest across the Asia-Pacific mobility sector.

Among the companies that have confirmed participation are Continental, HARTING Singapore Pte Ltd, Vossloh AG and Bozankaya. National pavilions are also expected from Japan, Spain, Australia and Switzerland, reflecting a broad international presence.

German firms will be able to join a joint pavilion supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in cooperation with AUMA. The initiative is intended to provide a structured entry point into Asian markets and facilitate business connections. Regional authorities from Berlin and Brandenburg are also preparing a shared pavilion.

Public transport is set to be a key theme at the Singapore event, including a dedicated BUS2BUS Zone. This follows the introduction of the concept at the BUS2BUS exhibition in Berlin, where InnoTrans Asia was presented to industry visitors for the first time. Organisers say the focus reflects demand in the region for bus-based and integrated transport solutions.

Kai Mangelberger, Head of the Mobility Division at Messe Berlin, said:

We are delighted with the extremely promising start of InnoTrans Asia. A good six months after signing the contract in Singapore and, not least, now at BUS2BUS in Berlin, we are sensing great interest from both established and new partners. Having so many exhibitors on board at such an early stage is generating great anticipation for the coming months.

Further promotion of InnoTrans Asia is planned during the next edition of InnoTrans in Berlin, which will run from 22 to 25 September 2026. A Singapore-based team will provide details about the event and participation options, including early registration rates.

InnoTrans Asia will be held at the Singapore Expo and will cover sectors including railway technology, infrastructure, interiors, tunnel construction and public transport systems. Messe Berlin, which has organised trade fairs for more than two centuries, is overseeing the event as part of its international expansion in the mobility sector.
