Unfortunately, these popular events are not currently offered in South Dakota although as recently as a few years ago the Black Hills Central Railroad in Hill City did host these unique excursions.  Hopefully one day soon they will return!

Known for its historic steam locomotives – notably 2-6-2T #104, 2-6-6-2T #110, and 2-6-6-2T #108 – the railroad features meticulously restored steam and diesel engines, providing a unique experience akin to train travel of yesteryear.
