With InnoTrans taking place from 22 to 25 September 2026, many accommodation options are already being booked up around the Messe Berlin. If you have not already done so, it is therefore highly recommended to reserve your hotel.
In 2024, around 170,000 visitors from 133 countries attended, while 2,940 exhibitors from 59 countries presented their latest products and services. This popularity leads to a high demand for accommodation options.
The scale of the event can also lead to tiring days for both visitors and exhibitors. Finding the right place to stay can thus be a vital element to success, ensuring that you can comfortably rest between the jam-packed days.

Hotels within walking distance can be an attractive option for many companies. It is no surprise that the Ibis Berlin Messe, which is just a 5-minute walk from the venue is already sold out for the InnoTrans dates.
However, staying elsewhere within a short commute from the Berlin Messe allows attendees to enjoy Berlin’s public transport options. Arguably, riding the bus or the metro to the event sets the scene for a productive day exploring the ideas and products showcased for the industry’s future. Notably, InnoTrans ticket holders can use Berlin public transport in zones A, B, and C at no cost.
The closest S-Bahn stations to the venue are Messe Nord/ZOB and Messe Süd. Messe Nord is served by lines S41/S42 and S46 on the Berlin Ringbahn, while Messe Süd is served by lines S3 and S9. Booking accommodation that is also close to a stop on one of these lines can therefore lead to a smoother, more relaxing journey than having to change lines.
Furthermore, Messe Berlin is directly served by local BVG bus lines and is adjacent to the Central Bus Station (ZOB) for long-distance travel. Key local bus routes connecting to the exhibition grounds include 104, 139, 218, 349, M49, X34, and X49, stopping at points such as Masurenallee/ZOB or Messegelände.
Before booking a hotel, it is recommended to check your travel options to and from the event on a platform such as Google Maps or CityMapper to ensure the journey is feasible before and after the long days.
For choosing a hotel, InnoTrans has partnered with Onlinetravel and visitBerlin to help provide suitable options. It is also worth exploring options on trusted sites such as Booking.com and Expedia to compare options and prices.
Alternatively, Airbnb also offers a multitude of options for groups of varying sizes, including more economical prices that can provide you with more space than a conventional hotel. However, if you do opt for this option or book a hotel without breakfast, be sure to schedule some time to stock up on food as part of your arrival plan so that you’re not starting a busy day at the event on an empty stomach!
Regardless of your priorities, taking some time to choose the ideal accommodation for you and your team should be a key consideration to help get the most out of InnoTrans 2026.
