Mallorca has formally launched its roadmap to deploy the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) across the island’s rail and metro network, following the award of a €30 million contract to a consortium of CAF, Hitachi Rail and Electrans to roll out Level 1 of the signalling and safety system.
