Italy’s state-owned rail group Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane (FS) has chosen London over Rome as the headquarters for a new global transport and infrastructure consultancy, FS Advisory, positioning the UK capital as the launchpad to advise global clients, including the British state as it pushes to nationalise its rail system.
