Lisbon and Porto, Portugal’s two main cities, were disconnected by train for five days in the past week and face new disruptions since yesterday. Flooding from depressions Kristin and Leonardo have suspended long-distance trains, and bus replacements are lacking. Since 6 pm Wednesday, no trains have run between the cities, with no forecast on the reopening yet.
