
The blaze that brought the West Coast Main Line to a halt last week was at a former station. The repurposed buildings of Primrose Hill, a halt less than a mile (1.6km) from Euston station, burned down on Friday (30 January), causing nationwide chaos on the busiest mixed traffic route in Europe.
